In Class Library & Literacy Center Enhancement

My Students:
In my 2nd grade classroom, I have a very diverse group of students in regards to their ethnicities, personalities and learning styles. My learners range from oral and visual to kinesthetic. Each student learns differently and needs something a little different from their peers to help them feel confident and successful.

Project Goals/Objectives:
I want each type of learner in my classroom to feel confident and comfortable. Through flexible seating options, such as storage stools, each student has a choice that matches their learning style and unique needs. My literacy area and library is not as physically accessible as my students need. With shorter shelves and more storage, the area can be better utilized by my students and help them feel confident while working both independently and collaboratively.
